What is a Ragdoll?

The Ragdoll is a fun-loving cat that wants to be an active part of a family. While they do shed, as all cats do, they are low shedders and have wonderful non-matting fur. Originated in the early 60's they were bred strictly for personality.  They are not loners and will want to be wherever you are.  They are a large cat with medium length fur and beautiful blue eyes.  Our kittens are especially affectionate as they are raised in our bedrooms, get lots of personal attention and are sleeping with us after about 7-8 weeks of age (once well litter trained).  We also have parent cats that pass down their fantastic personalities.
